Press Restart

Celia Prescott is perfectly content burying her broken heart in stacks and stacks of books, and falling in love with fictional men she’ll never meet in her real life. She feels safe, somewhat happy, tucked away in the nooks and crannies of her bookstore while the rest of the world happens around her. Until one night, one persuasive friend, one pub, and one blue eyed man restarted her heart and changed everything.

The Change Up

Samantha Miller lives her life as she pleases, frequently visiting her favorite pub with her close group of friends, including her overly protective big brother, Marc. She dates occasionally, but never seriously. She doesn’t need love, or a man, to define her happiness. She thought she had her life all figured out, until Sawyer Prescott looked her way and changed everything up. Is she willing to jeopardize the life she loves for a chance at love?

Sidelined

Mandy Taylor thrives in the chaos of being a stay-at-home mom and raising her four children. There’s not a sibling fight she can’t diffuse, or a party she can’t plan to perfection. When she discovers her husband is having an affair, it completely sidelines her life. Will she stay in the marriage for the sake of her children, or will she start a new chapter as a single mother? As she coordinates the chaos, new friendships emerge, and the possibility of love just might exercise its way into her heart.

Empathy Makes Me Thirsty

It was the summer of sixty-nine, no, scratch that, it was the summer of eighty-two

My birth year isn’t a rock song, though it should be.

I was brought to life by design, or lust, or love, or random chance, or evolution, you pick. I was born into a world I did not ask to be a part of, but here I am mucking through the mud and the muck of my life, my choices, my desires, my beliefs, my dreams, or so it seems.

Is life determined by chance or circumstance? I don’t know, you tell me.

Empathy makes me thirsty. This is my Poetry.
